Utah and shoe eating elevators

So this weekend we went to Utah.  We had a lot of fun for MANY different reasons!  Check it out!

Friday:

We got to visit Lauren!  It is crazy to think that she only has two months left!  We had so much fun.  We got to chase Kylia around and catch up on everything.  Turns out she is headed straight to San Antonio when she gets done with her mission!  Yeah!  I'm so excited that I will get to spend time with her this summer!  I can't wait!!!
Lauren told me that she is now a photographer.  She says she takes TONS of pictures.  These were some of the favorite posses.
And another one!
And Another!

Saturday:

Saturday was a good and bad day.  Bad because when we went to pick up Jared's brother Ben from the airport, my shoe lace got stuck in the escalator.  I freaked out and couldn't get my shoe free.  Jared's brother Spencer kicked my shoe free and when he did it ripped the laces out and shredded the lace holes(He saved my life from the blood sucking escalator).  The sad part was they wernt even a week old...  Jared got them for me for Valentine's Day. You can see how sad I am.

The good part of Saturday was picking up Ben.  It was a lot of fun to see everyone back together again.  Jared's family was so cute.  They were freaking out because Ben took so long to get off the air plane(video to come).  Ben brought back some AWESOME suveniors for the family.  Some of the things included:  Tribal masks and spears, carved animals, cheetah, lion, and leopared covered scriptures, shoes, a dress, and many other things.  We had a lot of fun listening to stories and looking at pictures!  Jared was happy to have him home!

Change

So this week, I have finally realized that I'm moving away... Far, Far AWAY.  Jared and I are going to Texas for the summer, but then we are making a PERMANANT move to Hawaii. (We think). Because of this move, I have been freaking out.  Jared and I have SOO much stuff.  I have absolutley NO idea what I am going to do with it.  I can't put it in storage (It will sit there forever), I can't leave it at Jared's (his parents are trying to clear their house of clutter and junk), and I can't leave it at the cabin(grandma is thinking of selling it).  The only option that I have is to leave it at my parents in TEXAS (1200 miles away).  Some how I have to transport all my stuff to Texas.  To reduce the monumental cost of renting some sort of moving van, I am selling everything.  At first this wasn't a big deal. I posted a desk, an entertainment center, a stereo, a rug, etc., but then I posted Kylia's crib.  For some reason I just started crying.  I LOVE Ky's crib and her cute little room.  I LOVE the stuff that we had accumulated for our future home.  I had envisioned how all the stuff we have now will look in out future home and now its sad to see it leave one by one.  BUT its okay.  Life is about changing and adapting right?  This will be a new change and a new life.  Throwing out all our winter clothes, jackets, sleds, boots, and picking up new things, like, flipflops and shorts.  Sometimes I wish I just had all the answers.  It would be so nice if I could just know what I'm supposed to be doing for the rest of forever.  I hate having to start over, but whatever doesn't kill me makes me stronger right?

My little Mischievous Angel

So, Kylia LOVES to explore. She finds new and exciting things all around the house! I'm surprised at what she finds and what she can do! Take a look...

Yes, those are the socket covers. She has learned how to take them out and what better place for them than in her mouth? I thought we were being good parents by making sure she couldn't get to the sockets. Come to find out, it wasn't the sockets we had to worry about.

I was in the kitchen trying some yummy cookies my grandma made me when I tuned around and couldn't find Ky.

It didn't take me to long to figure out where she was.  The door kept bouncing and it usually doesn't do that!

She knows where we keep all the food in the house!!

Her Kiss face.  She is so much Fun!

Her first tooth (she has two now)

Kylia is getting so stinking big.  She loves being able to walk down the halls and check everything out.  She is definitely our little shadow, wherever we go, she goes too!

Her favorite game is peek-a-boo!  She loves being scared.  She plays it forever and has soooo much fun.  It is crazy how they get so big so quick!
