I quit this blog!

I have tried almost a hundred times to post pictures or a video, but it is not working for me.  I posted pictures of Kyli on facebook.  Click here! These are old pictures from the end of the summer.  We will try and get some newer ones soon!  Enjoy!

Why can't I upload pictures?  Anyone?

I don't cook

I don't cook and tonight I tried and it turned out HORRIBLE.  It didn't even technically turn out. It was that darn Rachel Ray who had initially inspired me to try this recipe.  She makes everything look SO easy.  So tonight I made Twice-baked potato fritters.  It sure looked good on the show.  I did everything perfectly.  I even used the spoon she had recommended.  It was going very nicely until I started frying.  The first three or four turned out okay and then all of a sudden my fritter-potato balls started disintegrating in the oil.  The bottom of the pan turned into a potato slush.  I wasn't going to give up though.  I cleaned the oil and started again.  Same results.  I got three more and then once again with the mush.  I cleaned the pan again.  This time, no longer was I given three good potato fritters, JUST MUSH.  This is why I don't cook.  We live on Stouffer's.  That is the way I was raised and I turned out just fine.

And PS I was so busy with these potatoes that I ROASTED the chicken.  Hope you like it well done.

I tried to update me blog today, but for some reason it won't let me upload pictures.  We're doing pretty good.  I'm making potatoes for the first time ever tonight for dinner.  I had to call me dad to find out how to cook them.  Sad that I've never cooked real potatoes.  Oh well!  I'll try to upload pictures or something later.  Kyli's nap only last so long!

5:30

It is officially 5:30 and I cannot sleep, so I figured I would blog.  I kept Jared up for about 3 hours with tossing and turning and I finally quit and got up.  Unfortunately for me, no one is awake at 5:30 or I would give them a call and talk for a few.  Blogging is the next best thing right?

Well, we are liking living in Provo.  It has been pretty good so far.  Our ward is AMAZING.  they are on top of everything and try to keep everyone pretty involved.  For example, Enrichment night is Wednesday, Ward temple night is Thursday and we are having an ice cream social after RS broadcast on Saturday.  Already this semester, we have had a stake get together and a ward get together.  I'm pretty excited to get to know everyone in our ward since we will be here more than 4 months.  

Kyli is getting bigger and bigger each day.  She has started nursery which is WONDERFUL!!  It has been quite the transition for me.  I no longer know what to do with myself during Sunday school and Relief Society.  I find myself fidgeting.  It is weird not having her with me.  I am so used to chasing her around.  She has become quite the handful.  Her favorite things are climbing and exploring.  She had started signing a few words here and there.  I need to be more proactive with this.  She is so stinking smart.

Idaho Vaca

I was able to go to Idaho with my parents on Vacation. We were able to do a lot of fun things! While we were there we went to David's wedding, 4-wheeling, jetskiing and many other things. Here are some pictures!



I tried so hard to get a really good picture of Kyli. This is what I got. I think the photographer got a few really good ones... Can't wait to see them!

I LOVE this revolver, BUT holy cow does it have a kick. It was my grandfather's. The handle is pearl and the perfect size for me.

Kyli on the back of the four wheeler. This isn't quite how we rode up there, don't worry. She was sandwhiched between me and my dad. with a belt strapping her against us. It was about an hour and a half ride and she LOVED it. Fussed a little at first then closed her eyes and enjoyed the ride.

Kyli was so much fun. She loved playing in the dirt and picking the wild flowers. Still in her PJ's and as cute as ever!

Its Official!!

Okay, so Jared and I are officially moving to Utah, BUT we still don't have a place to stay. I have been looking at places on Craigslist and there are hundreds of apartments. I don't need anything brand spanking new, but I would like something that is not run down and in the Provo, Orem, and Springville area. Any suggestions? We would be up there around the 27th of August.
